Hungry, I come to you
For I know You satisfy
I am empty, but I know
Your love does not run dry
So I wait for you
So I wait for You
I’m falling on my knees
Offering all of me
Jesus, You’re all this heart is living for
Broken, I run to You
For Your arms are open wide
I am weary, but I know
Your touch restores my life
So I wait for you
So I wait for You
I’m falling on my knees
Offering all of me
Jesus, You’re all this heart is living for
Hey, I didn't just quote this song because I'm hungry at the time being. It's more of hunger and thirst for God - my Provider, Father and King. It amazes me how He works in miraculous ways to keep me hungry for Him. It's not just because it's a Sunday (Well, yeah, I do love Sundays!). It's all because of Him and how great He has always been and will always be. And I will continuously praise Him for His greatness.
20 When David returned home to bless his household, Michal daughter of Saul came out to meet him and said, "How the king of Israel has distinguished himself today, disrobing in the sight of the slave girls of his servants as any vulgar fellow would!"
21 David said to Michal, "It was before the LORD, who chose me rather than your father or anyone from his house when he appointed me ruler over the LORD's people Israel—I will celebrate before the LORD. 22 I will become even more undignified than this, and I will be humiliated in my own eyes. But by these slave girls you spoke of, I will be held in honor."
II Samuel 6:20-22
I will look foolish and undignified in the sight of men, and that's all right. My praises go to the King - Ruler of the Earth, and I'm sure He wouldn't mind the earthly foolishness. ^o^
